John Goldthorpe

britisk sosiolog; professor ved Nuffield College, Oxford. Han er mest kjent for sine samtidsstudier av sosial lagdeling og mobilitet, og hans klassifikasjon av sosiale klasser er mye brukt i empirisk samfunnsforskning.
