Den første spillefilmen, Helgenen i New York (The Saint in New York, 1938), hadde Louis Hayward i tittelrollen.

Two new cars had been introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961, a Jaguar E-Type and the Volvo P1800. Jaguar was first offered the opportunity to provide an E-Type for the TV series but declined. Volvo accepted and offered a P1800, leading to increased sales. Initially, Volvo lent two cars for the series, one for static studio shots and the other for moving shots. When the P1800S came along, one of the earlier cars was cut up to allow better interior shots.[citation needed] When the series Return of the Saint was created in the 1970s, Jaguar offered the XJ-S for the series.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo_P1800

The Aston Martin DB5 is one of the most famous cars in the world thanks to Oscar-winning special effects expert John Stears, who created the deadly silver-birch DB5 for use by James Bond in the film, Goldfinger (1964). Although Ian Fleming had placed Bond in a DB Mark III in the novel, the DB5 was the company's latest model when the film was being made. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_James_Bond_vehicles Jaguar E type var tenkr som Bond bil GOLDFINGER DVD og Blueray bonus Ekstrea dokunemtar om filmen. http://www.007museum.com/Jaguar_E-Type.htm

Vennlig hilsen Ann-Sofi S. Emilsen
