Jay McInerney

amerikansk forfatter. Han debuterte i 1984 med romanen Bright Lights, Big City (norsk overs. Neon, 1987), som ble noe av en sensasjon og som også ble filmatisert. Siden har han bl.a. utgitt Ransom, the Story of My Life (1989), Brightness Falls (1992), The Last of the Savages (1996), Model Behavior (1998), artikkelsamlingen Bacchus & Me: Adventures in the Wine Cellar (2000), novellesamlingen How It Ended (2000) og romanen The Good Life (2006).
